Salon Lofts Lake Hills Plaza is a clean and private space where each room is a mini salon with its own distinct personality. Many talented stylists and a barber work here, providing complete one-on-one service. They are described as upbeat, personable, clean, professional, and extremely responsive. Clients report that the stylists are very receptive to ideas, talk through the process, and know just what clients want, earning full trust in their judgement and talent. Customers are willing to drive long distances and call it the best cut in Austin, making it a treat to visit.
I’ve been seeing Morgana since before I was married- now I have two kids and she does everyone’s hair. I love her- she is always so upbeat and personable. She also always knows just how I want my hair- usually before I know how to describe what I want. The best!
(Shameless plug and review for Emily P. the barber) This page really does the place an injustice. Has the wrong photos on the thumbnail (this is not the Bowie place, this is off of 290 and S Lamar). Plenty of talented stylists but Emily is the GOAT barber. Her artistic/stylistic opinion is honestly the end all be all. I fully trust her judgement and talent. She's clean, professional, and extremely responsive. Ask her question, ask for her suggestions, sit back and relax. Best cut you've had in Austin Wish I got a pic before I left but I've been going to her for nearly 2 years now, followed her across multiple locations.
Salon Lofts is my go to for big hair cuts and styles, even after moving almost 2 hours away I still make the drive to come here. The space is clean and private, you get complete 1 on 1 with your stylist. I cannot recommend Mando enough! He is very receptive to ideas and talks with you through the process to ensure you get the outcome you're looking for.
