I've gone to traditional PT for years, but so few physical therapists are familiar with EDS and POTS that I usually end up getting injured in PT instead of getting better.
Working with Jonathan has been life changing. I've spent a year going through the custom treatment plan he created to train my brain and body to use the right muscles for the right tasks. As a result, I've seen massive improvements in my strength, balance, proprioception, stamina, and pain levels.
Even though they don't take insurance, the cost is very reasonable for the quality of care you're getting and it's been a worthwhile investment.... read full review

I've been going to Parr PT Austin for 2 months now and I can definitely feel a positive change. In such a short amount of time, there has been more improvement when compared to traditional PT. I also trust Drs. Parr and Chan completely. This is huge, because I've been hurt in past PT programs. When I first started with PARR PT, I was losing hope that I'd ever feel better. Now, I have some relief. My pain intensity level doesn't stay at 15 like it used to, for example. PARR PT provides one-on-one attention the entire session, which I love and the at-home program is a lot more understandable than I thought it would be. We gave PARR PT a try after traditional PT sent my son’s neck pain into a downward spiral. PARR has been able to help my 9 year old get back to playing flag football and earning a gold belt in karate, which are two things that felt light years away when we began seeing them. Through a couple in person appointments and the rest via telehealth, they’ve been able to tailor exercises that build his strength without triggering other symptoms. They were even able to help with his gastrointestinal issues and sensory sensitivities. PARR has helped give us peace of mind and a path forward to getting our son physically active again.
