“The salon I normally frequent didn't have any openings and while at nearby store noticed Gloss, so stopped in and they were able to fit me in right away. Soo impressed with the quality of pedicure, salon and staff! Think will now become loyal customer... Technician, Moon, just great. Thanks!

“Huge salon with lots of available hairdressers. I love being able to book online without having to talk to a human. It makes things so convenient. The front desk greeted me and offered me a drink while we waited. And the owner walks around and makes sure everyone is comfortable! I was waiting on my daughter and she offered me a coffee. Jaden, our hairstylist, was prompt, easy to talk to, and so friendly. She found me a seat so I could sit next to my daughter and constantly held great conversation with my daughter. Overall, I love the whole customer experience!

“I have searched for a nail salon in Austin since the day I was born (kidding, but not). I can confidently say I’ve found THE place. Everything is so clean, fresh, calm, and relaxing.

I wanted to wait a couple of weeks before leaving a review just to see how my nails held up. Somehow they still look like I just got them done?????!!!!! I work in construction, so my hands/nails get beat up daily (Only good lighting pic I have is holding up paint samples lol). But, just LOOK at how good my nails still look!!! It’s been 2 full weeks. My pedicure was also amazing.

The staff actually seems like they are enjoying what they do, and the environment as a whole is just a good vibe. “I made a reservation at Nail Art House after finding out that my favorite salon for Russian manicures has recently closed temporarily (Vilero out of Cedar Park). Apparently they plan to come back in September under a new name, but my nails needed work pronto. I ended up making a reservation for my birthday at a time that was closest to being convenient for my schedule. It took about 2 hours from old gel removal, cuticle work, and new gel polish and nail reshaping. You can make a reservation online or over the phone. I thought it was interesting that the nail techs were priced differently (from $120-$160), and I'm assuming it's based on some level of experience. I chose a late morning slot for $120. Parking wasn't too much of a hassle, but not having come here before, it took me a while to realize that the building where NAH is located had suites inside (behind Houndstooth Coffee and the other eateries). The ambiance was definitely "hip, fresh, and cool"---from the decor to the colors. The receptionist was friendly and offered water, coffee, or soda. I asked if she could prep a cappuccino while I waited for my technician Laneth. I wish I had taken a picture of the cappuccino because it was served so cutely and came with a Reese's mini PB cup. I've now grown accustomed to having a cappuccino to pair with a Russian manicure! Laneth was super attentive, and was able to meet my request for shorter nails and a gold chrome color. She did a great job with my cuticles too. I ended up paying $207 (service + tip) so it was absolutely on the pricey side compared to what I paid at Vilero. We'll see how long-lasting it is! One thing I found odd was when I proudly and happily gave them a shout-out on social media, I did not receive any message of thanks or appreciation. Even if they don't repost, its nice etiquette when a local business shows appreciation---even if it is a quick DM saying "thank you!"---for clients who take the time to take pictures/videos to share on social media, for free.“

“I came here on a Tuesday evening and they did my nails and a pedicure. Great experience, would recommend.

I asked for an appointment at 6 pm and gave them a sample image and they said they can do it, but they didn’t have the appliqué and exact color I wanted, but I’ll still give them 5 stars because they worked with me to make a new design and and made sure I was happy. Van did my nails and Taylor did my pedicure. They stayed past closing to get everything done.“

“Five Fabulous Stars for Troy! My regular hairdresser is in Italy, so I took a chance on Troy. First, he is a true professional. Our consult was not rushed. Troy took his time to fully understand exactly what I wanted; he gave me a detailed step-by-step playbook of how he would take me to where I wanted to be cut and color-wise. He also planned for the broken strands around my face, and frizz in the back. Second, he gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had, because he truly understands hair and how it lays. Third, he gave me phenomenal “old money blonde” highlights that shimmer. Troy has great vision and has magical hands. Furthermore, he is delightful, kind, and an absolute pleasure to be around. “I prefer soak-less pedicures + unfortunately, there aren’t a lot of options to choose from in Austin, however, I’m thankful I’ve stumbled upon this gem of a (sustainable + inclusive) place.

I booked the Hangout Pedi (buff shine) with Kiara M. I love the vibes, the music + how easygoing Kiara is. I felt at ease as soon as I entered the salon + I was immediately acknowledged/greeted.

I love that this salon gives each employee two days off in a row (good work-life balance) as well as focuses on ethical business practices + product selections. So many places have such a low-morale environment that a client can sense it, but I’m thankful that ‘Cure Studios is not one of them!“

“This was my very first nail salon visit in Austin after moving here from Houston, Texas. For the price I paid, $60 (including tip.) I would say The nail technician, Tyler did a great job. Although I did feel he was a little rushed, but I wasn’t getting a full set and just a refill and color change. The receptionist/managers helped me pick out a color I wanted and we’re patient with me While finding a color. The only lack they have here is the color selection and collection. It’s very limited compared to what I’ve seen in Houston. I’ve yet to try other salons here in Austin, but I feel they could get more companies and color Variations. Nonetheless, I would return here if I’m looking for a regular service.“
