We worked with Mark to choreograph and learn our first dance song for our wedding and it was the best choice! We have had a blast with each of our lessons. Mark created fun yet elegant choreography for our chosen song and explained things simply and clearly. He was incredibly patient with us during any moves we didn't get as quickly, explaining where needed and working with us to feel more comfortable with the motions. We looked forward to our time each week, knowing that we were in good hands. His prices are great and he was flexible on scheduling, which was really helpful with our hectic schedules. Mark is the best! We've been working with him for about three months and it is our favorite part of the week. I have no experience with dance whatsoever and he has been so patient and really makes an effort to explain things in ways that I can understand. He's also able to get into really technical instruction as well which he does with my partner who does have some dance experience. We've learned so much and would highly highly highly recommend him to anyone.
My husband and I signed up for 5 lessons with Mark Moy because we wanted to get my husband ready for his father-daughter dance at our daughter's wedding. I served as the stand in for my daughter, and Mark taught us the rhumba to go with our chosen song. It felt like we were dancing very quickly! We learned some basic and cool looking moves in the first 2 lessons. My daughter was in town for one of the lesson times and she learned most of the moves from Mark in one lesson (oh to be young again!).
