After recently relocating from ATX, and needing to establish vet care in a new state, I felt the need to give a HUGE shout out to Manchaca Road Animal Hospital - and Dr. Walker specifically. Our senior dog was a patient of Dr. Walker’s for over 5 years. From arthritis, to skin infections, a splenectomy(!), and dental surgery - it’s safe to say, we received a LOT of care here. Every visit was attentive, kind, and thorough. I took my two cats to this clinic for over 10 years and had nothing but excellent experiences. My boys lived to be 18 and 19, both with chronic conditions like IBD, hyperthyroidism and kidney disease. Everyone is friendly and easy to work with. My cats primarily saw Dr Rojo, but I remember Dr. Walker being there the day I took one of them in because he wasn't eating. Long story short, she and the team saved his life and ended up giving me four more years with him I might not have had otherwise.
