I was traveling and in need of a little cleanup on my head and my beard when I saw Lalo's storefront. I went inside and a gentleman put me in contact with Lalo and he did a very nice job trimming me up and getting me presentable for a meeting later that day. Lalo is a great guy and I hope you will consider having him as your barber.

Please read in it's entirety. was very torn about writing this review. My haircut does look good though...The place is a no frills kinda shop - more like your uncle's shed in the backyard. No issues with that but just be aware. Friendly guy and is upfront about services he can/cannot do. The prices have increased to $25 and not the $20 painted on the front window.The guy before me requested a high and tight fade. Lalo did a good job and his fade looked great. However, that's not what wanted.I requested a trim, a little off the top, as I'm growing it out and a 4.5 guard along the side and back. I repeated several times did not want a fade, and not a lot cut off the top.I...read full review

I did not get a fade, but had about 1.5inches taken off the top. Much more than I wanted. For sides and back, he barely touched it. The cut literally took 5 minutes maybe? I was shocked and immediately went home to style it. Here's the thing, it actually looks good for a short hair cut. But it's not what I asked for, hence the 3 stars. Though the haircut turned out good, it's not what I wanted and will not be going back. However if you are looking for a short fade, Lalo's your guy.
