I've been getting tattooed by Joey for 3.5 years and have nothing but praise. As an artist myself, it's easy to see he's put years of practice in his craft. He understands advanced illustrative techniques (and I dare say, he's mastered them) and implements them in his tattoo design and communicates his methods better than any tattoo artist I've ever worked with. Joey’s tattoos are INCREDIBLE. The work he made for me was all free hand drawing. You should see his sketchbook. As an artist myself I have high standards, but I trust him every time I sit ready for a new tattoo, he is a true artist. He not only hears my ideas but implement them in a unique, one of a kind application. I get so many compliments on my sleeve and people ask for his contact. Beyond the artistry, It’s always a delight to chat with him. He never ceases to makes me feel comfortable. Joey holds the most interesting conversation! I am so grateful I found him and can’t wait for my next ink.
