About Helping Hand Home For Children
Helping Hand Home for Children is a place that provides care and support for children in need, particularly those who come from difficult backgrounds. The home has a nurturing environment where children can heal, grow, and just be kids again. The staff are commended for their patience and dedication in helping the children. The home has also been expanding, with new homes, playground upgrades, and community activities. Despite the challenges brought by the pandemic, Helping Hand Home for Children continues to find ways to bring joy to the children, such as through holiday gift-giving.
Wow I almost forgot about this place. I grew up here. I don’t know what else to say but thank you. It was in 2005 where I came in from a broken home. I was 4 years old in the foster care system. I hope the old staff that was here is still there. And I hope they know I say thank you for helping me get adopted.. I am now all grown. Thank you all
This place helps so many kids in need and is wonderful to have in the community. Kids who have been hurt learn how to grow and play and get to be kids again here. The staff are amazing and so patient.Helping Hand Home continues to grow. There are new homes, upgrades to the play grounds and new activities to help the children join in the community.
We were there to distribute presents to the children and play games. We weren't able to play with the kids due to positive covid test...but the large collection of gifts should brighten their holidays.
