Brennon and the Full Canopy team have been invaluable to us over the years. They especially helped save two oak trees on our property after a severe ice storm. My wife and I are grateful for their dedication to tree health, ensuring we can enjoy these trees for years to come. Thank you, Full Canopy!

My arborist stopped by this morning to help me budget for work I will want this autumn. This is the 4th year that we've done this together. And while I had him here I unloaded every question I could think of. Every minute I get to speak with this man gives me information that proves so valuable later. It reminded me all the reasons I am lucky to have him, (another arborist recommended him to me!) And it made me think about how different my house would be now if I had known Brennon when I first moved in. He would have saved the most beautiful feature of the property and prevented $23,000 of damage. As a first time homeowner I sought a house with mature trees. And I found one with the biggest oak tree I'd ever seen in the front yard. At the time I thought of trees as big static plants that live their own lives and require nothing. Then came the Snowpocalypse. I did not know it at the time, because there were no fallen branches, but it killed that oak. I don't like to think about the fact that I could have prevented that if I knew how to prepare trees for a freeze. But one thing did come out of the death of that tree. I met my certified master arborist, Brennon McGee. He wasn't easy to find. I called an arborist from a flyer who told me there's no way they could remove a tree like that, with no explanation. Then I remembered I knew a friend whose cousin was a master arborist. They came up from Bastrop to take a look at my situation. And they told me they only knew of one service with the equipment and expertise to remove that tree: Brennon McGee at Full Canopy Tree Care. I'm going to digress here to give y'all a list of things his crew has done for me since then: - - They replaced that tree with one chosen to stand up to heat, drought and ice storms. It is so beautiful, and I can't believe how tall it is already. And the freezes and heat waves it has been through have not phased it. - -They helped me preserve several poorly maintained elderly trees. - - When one of those older trees finally fell apart in the next ice storm they removed it while I was on vacation. That was so sweet and compassionate of them. It was like I left a literal disaster area and came home to a peaceful garden. - - When my solar panel installers did a hack job on my native oak, they fixed it. - - Once when I couldn't afford fertilization my trees needed they did it at a discount. And while they were here, they chose the highest impact things they could do for my young trees, and did it for free. - - I have 5 young native trees that were volunteers. They helped me choose which ones to keep, and they prune them to grow upward and not to sprawl and fall apart. I now see my property as a decades long timeline evolving through life stages of each tree. - - All my neighbors' trees have drought, freeze, compaction and insect stress. There's visible damage on almost every tree on the street. But mine don't because they taught me exactly what to do for them based on the weather conditions. - - Brennon stops by for free to help me plan. And I don't know if he'd want me to tell y'all this, but he answers questions I send to his personal mobile phone all the time. . . even late in the evening. - - This crew is full of sweet adorable guys who really love these trees. They know each individual tree. They remember its story. They love to see the progress each one has made since they last saw it. And they even remember, track, and care about the progress of ones they have never worked on. I have such peace of mind now knowing how to prevent tree disasters on my property. That first year was a brutal lesson about home ownership. But I now see each tree as an individual at a specific stage of its life. I know what it needs. I know how to tell early on if it's struggling. I know Brennon can help. Residential trees have this whole secret life that he can decode for me. And he can tell the stories of my whole neighborhood just by looking at them. This morning I pointed to every neighbor tree

This is my first yelp review because Brennan and his team are fantastic! He took the time to walk the property with me, asking me lots of questions and giving me valuable information to make sure I was well informed and that we were on the same page. The crew was professional, friendly, cleaned up, and completed the work even in terrible weather! I was left my property before the end of the work, and there was one thing was missed (clearing a brush filled walkway). When I contacted Brennan about it almost a month later (I hadn't even noticed!) he had a crew there in less than an hour and made sure I was satisfied. Seriously the best customer service I have experienced in a long time!! They really care for your trees too! I couldn't be happier.
