My wife and I have seen Dr. Warfield for over 15 years now. She has always been a very competent and professional PCP for us, but recently the billing department has gone off the rails. Today, we received a CERTIFIED LETTER in the mail stating they will no longer see my wife because of a past due balance of 95.65?! Mind you, we have received no bills in the mail nor any phone calls requesting payment. I called the office and they were extremely unhelpful, but had stated that it has already went to collections and they couldn't provide any help. I generally receive refund checks due to them overcharging co-pays, but never have we received a bill for more than a couple of dollars - which is paid on the next office visit. It would seem that the practice would value long-term clients but apparently they do not. I do not recommend entrusting any Dominion Family Healthcare facilities to care for your health, because they sure can't keep their billing straight!

Worst reception team I've ever dealt with in my life. I'm convinced no one in this office has any idea what they're doing. If you leave a message on their answering machine, don't expect a call back for 3 weeks. If you need to get in contact with your doctor, they'll 'send a message' to them, and you'll never hear back, and they'll be completely confused about what you're calling for after you've called 4 different times and already talked to 4 different people. Unfortunately I really liked Dr. Hodgkins, but I will be finding a new practice that has a competent office staff.

I've been a patient for over 15 years and today I'm firing them. I had a bloodwork order for my annual physical and allergy test included. I was told that I could come in to their office for the bloodwork instead of going to CPL or Quest. So I went in and waited 40 minutes and they came out and told me there was some confusion on the order and they needed input from Dr. Warfield but she's out of office so PA Lauren Hodgkins is needed but she's busy too. That order had been in their system for 4 weeks before I went in. How is there suddenly some confusion on the order? I had to leave for a meeting so I was forced to postpone by a day. This was very annoying but I was willing to offer some grace. I called ahead today to see if the order issue was resolved. They said they'd speak with the doctor and call me back. Of course they didn't, so I called back and started to get frustrated. The problem is that this bloodwork requires fasting and I couldn't wait long before my day had to begin. They didn't seem to care about it. I was mid sentence explaining that to the second person I spoke with and instead of listening to me, she left the call. In my 38 years of being alive on planet Earth, I've never had a healthcare employee hang up on me in the middle of a moment like this. The apathy is shocking and she doesn't deserve to be in this field. Fire whoever that is immediately. I called back and after 3 attempts to get someone on the phone (3 subsequent calls) canceled my appointment and my bloodwork. I'm never going back to this practice, and it has everything to do with their front staff. They are bitter, rude, unhappy, and unhelpful. They fail to return calls and VMs often. So you're better off finding a clinic that won't disrespect you like that.
