“Came into Austin to get away from the power outage in Houston. Called K&Qs to ask if my Papa could get in. They told me have him come now, no wait. Fast forward, I’m in the hotel waiting for my grandfather to return. In walks my Papa looking fresh and smiling. Raving about the great service and atmosphere. Great haircut and good wholesome feel for a Saturday in the shop. I was so happy to hear of the wonderful and pleasant experience. Eli cut my hair, and even with my poor guidance with direction, he did exactly what I wanted. I reached out to him several months ago to prepare for my wedding, he gave me great advice on my hair and beard and we slowly worked to the look I was after with every session. “Who is this Guy? He is the Man! I read all the reviews in Austin for over a year looking for someone with real scissor skills. In the meantime getting not great haircuts. I took a chance on Guy and glad I did. There is nothing worse in life than getting a bad haircut. Guy undid the damage done and cut my long straight fine hair to a business cut that looks great. Also his conversation, listening skills and music choices were awesome. What a real blessing to find someone who not only talks the talk but who's hands know what to do and have real skills. I recommend Guy and I am always loyal to my barber. I have retired 3 barbers in my lifetime, the last one after 10 years, so glad to have found Guy who will be around for a long time. I have finally found my barber after a long search. Save yourself time and heartache and listen to my advice. I have done the work for you finding Guy, and I am the world's biggest skeptic. Good spirit, great skills, exceptional conversation, and the next morning looking in the mirror perfect haircut. I’m typically exhausted when I get my hair cut (full time job and taking care of a baby at home. Get my haircut on my day off about once a month.). When I’m not in the mood to chat, Steve picks that up and respects that. When I am, he’s a funny guy. I’m a white male with thinning hair that gets a skin fade with a trim on the top.
