Sentinel Martial Arts is truly my home away from home. Anyone that steps foot into the school walks out a better person and truly creates a village of people who show up for you. Everyone is welcome, everyone is pushed to succeed, everyone has different goals and it’s amazing to see their journeys along the way. Hope and Jose are the biggest blessing in my life as well as my family’s life couldn’t say enough to really describe how great instructors/mentors and overall just great human beings they are.

Sentinel Martial Arts has been one of the biggest blessings in our lives, and I can’t say enough amazing things about this incredible school. My son Benjamin started back in 2019, and from the very first day we walked through the doors, we were welcomed with open arms by Master Lewis and Mrs. Song. They went above and beyond, even offering Benjamin a free private lesson to get him started. From that moment on, he was hooked! He wanted to go to every single class without ever missing a beat. What makes Sentinel so special isn’t just the martial arts training (which is phenomenal), but the way they teach with such heart, patience, and creativity. The lessons go beyond kicks and punches. They teach discipline, respect, confidence, kindness, and so many life values that carry far outside the studio. And they make it FUN. From games like “Zombie Ball,” martial arts baseball, and some of the coolest obstacle courses you’ve ever seen, to holiday parties, movie nights, and themed events, there’s always something exciting happening. Their birthday parties are unforgettable—Benjamin celebrated his there multiple times, and his absolute favorite part was getting to cut his cake with a real sword. Over the years, Benjamin has built incredible friendships, and we’ve become a true part of the Sentinel Martial Arts family. Their son, Wolf, is one of the kindest and most considerate young men you could ever meet, always helping and encouraging the kids. Every child is treated with respect, patience, and genuine care, it’s such a nurturing and positive environment. When Master Lewis passed away, our hearts were completely broken. His presence and impact were immeasurable. Through that unimaginable loss, Mrs. Song showed us all what true strength looks like. Even while carrying her own grief, she continued to show up every single day with warmth, encouragement, and the most welcoming smile. She continues to inspire us all with her unwavering dedication to her students and her ability to make every person who walks into Sentinel feel valued and supported. Sentinel Martial Arts is not just a school, it’s a community, a family, and a place where kids (and parents) grow, learn, and thrive. We are forever grateful for everything they have poured into Benjamin’s life, and we couldn’t imagine being on this journey anywhere else. ❤️

Sentinel Martial Arts absolutely changed my life for the better, started when I was 12 years old. I am now 25 and can confidently say the teaching and mentorship I received throughout my teenage years shaped the person that I am today! Extremely helpful and inspiring people all around.
