My preferred place to take my Vizsla when going out of town. It’s 90 minutes from where I live so it’s a bit of a trek nowadays, but if you are any closer it’s a no brainer.
It’s priced very competitively to the larger Dog day care chains but you get so much more here.

We live in Prosper which is a 40 minute drive away from the Lone Star Dog Ranch, but we bring our fur-baby Lilah here instead of somewhere closer. It's not like other boarding facilities. Our local facilities left them in small kennels all day, segregated small and large dogs, and if you wanted someone to play with your dog, you had to pay extra. When we used a local place (I won't name names) Lilah always came home with cuts and scrapes and we'd have no explanation as to when or why. It got to where she hated going and we hated taking her. The staff here was very easy to work with, with clear instructions on what their requirements are. I appreciate their vetting process and felt like my dog would be in good care here.
We boarded for two nights and everything seemed good. Dog was happy and tired when we picked him up!
