As a complete beginner with 0 martial arts experience, I signed up for a 2 week trial for their Muay Thai classes. I attended two classes and enjoyed the drills and workouts and had a great time and was excited to learn and continue.However, I did participate in the 'light' sparring for the last 15 minutes of the second class I attended. I asked the instructor if he thought it was something I should do and he said for some people it's a good idea, for others it's not, not really encouraging me in either direction. Instructors are cool. But I can’t stand being inside of the facility. I’d give them 5 stars if they’d get rid of the swarm of flies that terrorizes the parents while they wait. You will literally be shooing away flies every 5 seconds for an hour. Ugh!

I dropped in for a lunch BJJ class while I was in town for work, and I’m so glad I did.For starters, everyone was incredibly welcoming and friendly. There’s a good number of active competitors here too, which always makes the environment a bit more fun imo. The high level of technique amongst the regular members (both juvenile and adults) definitely challenged me to sharpen my own. I really wish I could stick around for more classes!!It’s also a major bonus that the facility itself is STELLAR—plenty of mat space, cleanliness throughout the entire space, a shower, cubbies for personal belongings, etc. Honestly one of my favorite facilities I’ve been to so far...read full review
