I must admit,I understand why people want to move to Allen. Its managed well, with thoughtful administration and a conservative approach to government.I paid just enough attention in civics class to pass the test. Im only half way kidding. I do know the rudiments of city,county,state and federal government. However, I haven't been as involved in local government during my life, as I probably should have been. Do you know how and why your city government works the way it does?The reason I attended tonight's city council meeting was to monitor the activity surrounding a bond issuance approved by voters in 2016! The COVID Vaccination site run by the Allen Fire Department at Eagle Stadium was extremely organized and efficient. We arrived for our 12:00 appointment at 11:57 and had a shot by 12:03. We were very impressed and grateful. Thank you!

I have worked alot with this office pulling permits for roof replacements since the 2014 storm. In 2014 you pulled the permits in person and the staff was always so nice and helpful. Now that everything is done online they have continued to be so helpful online helping me navigate through the online process. I deal with all the cities in the metroplex and this is definitely one of my favorites always so helpful!
