I requested Marlo and have nothing but positive things to say about her.
She is an exceptional stylist, very friendly and personable, and a true professional at what she does. I always look forward to coming and catching up from the previous 2 weeks. When I was having a rough time a year ago, she sensed that and just let me be with my thoughts, instead of forcing a conversation.
No one touches my hair except for Marlo. I have never been disappointed with her services or how she cuts my hair.
Haircuts are great but I am bombarded by political conversation(I’m on the general same side of the person so it’s not a stance thing) every time I come here. Some hairdressers are worse than others but it has been a constant every time to get into how Texas is being ruined by old white men just cut my hair please I feel like a hostage
It always starts with them testing the waters by lightly probing my political stance then when they see I’m on their side it’s full on “the other side needs to die off and leave us alone”(actual quote during my last haircut)
I wish I could say I love this haircut and the service here, I was really hoping to find a place to come back to time and time again. I asked for a fade and an inch or two off top, as my curly hair was growing out of hand. The young lady who cut my hair asked me if I wanted to keep my curls, and I said yes. The haircut felt very rushed and sort of intense, when I was expecting something relaxing, with communication. When the haircut was done, I realized she had cut off my curls. It's not the end of the world, clearly hair grows back, but it's not what I wanted, my scalp hurts, and I feel like my request wasn't honored.
