Decided to try something new and go with a salon to do my hair vs an independent braider and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to an independent braider. You know the amazing feeling of telling a stylist exactly what you want and them providing it down to the detail? Tayo and her girls EXCEEDED my request and it’s expectations and I left feeling so floored with my new hair! I emailed Tayo late on a mid week day and she responded so quickly, answered all my questions and offered to fit me in the next day. She was so sweet, helpful and informative. These women are absolutely fantastic at what they do! I’m always indecisive about what styles to get and they never, ever judge me! Before starting my Locs, I was in there a few times for a month trying to decide what I wanted. These women are patient, kind and the do more than just a “well” job! They’re very gentle on my extremely thick 4C Hair even when blowing drying! They’re always asking if things are too tight to make sure I’m comfortable and they have no problems fixing anything that feels strained. I absolutely LOVE this braiding salon. I’ve been going to Tayo since this summer & she’s such a doll. She’s extremely professional, timely, efficient, patient & knowledgeable of all types of hair textures and styles. Her team is also just as great! She prides herself on never canceling and takes her time with each client. I’m so happy that I found her online. Not only does she do my braids to perfection she’s now taking care of my natural hair under my wigs. I feel so comfortable with her handling my natural hair maintenance.
