“I haven’t felt relief from the weather in some years, and this year with how much it has been raining I am eternally grateful to J’Layne and his amazing crew for getting a new roof on my house. I really wrestled with our homeowners insurance for several years because they would tell me the damage wasn’t bad, or that it was just normal wear and tear despite there being significant leaking in the house, or that there were three layers and that’s exempt…but the solution is that we just needed professionals to manhandle them. The first thing I was told by J’Layne was that they would re-submit our insurance claim, but this time it would be item for item. Before I even knew it, a crew showed up and had all the supplies dropped off, and a day and a half later we had a brand new roof that was instantly christened with a beautiful rain storm, and for the first time in a very long time I have been able to enjoy the rainy weather and not be concerned that in this economy with my two children, we would just be living like we have been with heavy recourse.The crew was amazing, friendly, respectful, they picked up every stitch of debris, they removed three layers of shingles, put a gorgeous new roof, there were also some structural issues that were addressed…and I mean, the proof is instant. My ceilings and walls are dry, around the chimneys, completely dry. I could cry just thinking about it. As a first time homeowner and parent, it is absolutely nerve wracking to navigate “good” and “bad” insurance, and I certainly have never met a roofer that was knowledgeable or patient enough to help us through it all, trust me I absolutely reached out to several companies and the last one completely ghosted me.
