Great place to shop for a dulcimer. They are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They were very good to answer questions and provide guidance and support. Their handmade dulcimers have a good sound and are quality instruments.
Stopped in to buy dulcimer cases for our new dulcimers. The owner's daughter works behind the counter and was extremely helpful. I was concerned that a fret was in the wrong position and she called her Dad at home. He drove over to the store to check on it. Wow, what service. We are new players and walked out with some beginner music, some pics, and a hat, lol. We will stop back again if we are in Townsend on a day they are open.
Very kind people very sweet people. I enjoyed my visit with wood and strings. I put one of the dulcimers on layaway there and will be picking it up very soon. Enjoy the town and the people at wood-n-strings
