Wife and I rescued a 9 month old standard poodle with zero training and she is a handful. But, we needed to get her spayed and my regular vet does no surgery. So after careful research we chose BVC. EVERYTHING from new patient intake to post op process was flawless. Parti Girl (dog) is doing awesome. Zero surprises in her recovery. And I have to say even her wound closure looks like a plastic surgeon did it. Thanks to all the staff and doctors.
This is the ONLY place I trust with my dog! I live an hour away, and it is definitely worth the drive! I can't recommend this place enough! They are so respectful. The place is actually VERY clean and organized, unlike everywhere else.
A simple 5 star review doesn't begin to do justice for how great this crew truly is. Recently my family was camping at one of the state parks nearby when our 12yo pup had and accident that resulted in her dislocating her elbow. We rushed her to the closet vet which happened to be Bluegrass. Dr. Wilson and her staff were nothing but beyond amazing, compassionate, and caring for us during this time. Unfortunately our little love's situation was worse than we expected and she was not able to be saved.
