I unfortunately had to borrow money for an unexpected expense several months ago. I have paid my loan on time every month. I contacted Covid and had to miss several weeks of work and called them to inform them my payment would be 6 days late. They said if I didn't have my payment to them within 24 hours of my payment being late my payment would double. This did not sound accurate so I contacted a friend who works for the TN Financial Bureau which regulates title loans. He told me to ask for a copy of my contract and my renewal statement that by law they have to provide me with each month, which I have never gotten. These people are awful.
