Vanderbilt Stallworth Rehab: Lewis Michael M MD

I have read the reviews and strongly question the comments. I had an excellent experience during my two week stay. The other reviews mention personal issues, I too had a couple issues that if unaddressed would cause a less positive review. I brought the issues to attention of management and they fixed in hours not days. I'm reminded when I had a business folks that were less than satisfied wouldn't allow the business to fixed, only complained to others. I still highly recommend VSRH! Hard to address what is hidden or unknown.

Vanderbilt Stallworth gave my family hope. My son is 21 years old and was in a bad car accident and had severe brain trauma . It was beginning to become a journey for me and my family because he had been transported from 3 different hospital. We never knew what the outcome was going to be. Some even gave up on him so it was very frightening each place he went. But when he went to Vanderbilt Stallworth the journey began to become brighter with hope. God put the right people in his path to help him get better. The doctor, OT, PT, speech therapist , nurses, sitters, techs, case managers and every staff there help my son to get better. I have to say, despite not getting as much rest as one would like, one has to remember this IS an inpatient rehabilitation HOSPITAL, and the staff there are amazing. I loved the two physicians assigned to me, the nursing staff was fantastic, and I am in love with my PT and OT people!!! The food isn't half bad, and to entice me to eat the dietician had given me a special menu that even had onion rings and chicken tenders on it, which I could order from in lieu of the standard daily menu... not too shabby, eh? They have to do the blood pressure, O2 levels and temperature checks, people. They have to scan the hospital bracelet for your medications. All these things... read full review
