After a rogue slip in the shower led to me knocking a part of my toilet loose, I needed a quick fix on the leaking commode -- I found Shiver Plumbing in a Google search and stumbled upon a top-notch service. Shiver came to the house within the day (as opposed to scheduling an appointment for a leaking commode a few days later, as the calls to the competition dictated -- as if anyone has time to wait multiple days for an appointment to fix a leaking commode), and was honest in his assessment. The unit was older, and needed a replacement. Thankfully, one was on the truck, and I was quoted a very fair price for the visit, installation and price of the new commode (he even offered to take away the old model). The service was fast, friendly and effective -- the new commode works great, and he was very earnest to give us a great model that was very cost effective. I will only use Shiver Plumbing from here on out -- their professionalism, honesty and expertise rival any of the major competitors on the market. To say I'm impressed is an understatement.
We had an issue with a leak in the last 24 hours. We called a local plumbing company, Shiver Plumbing for assistance. John, the owner came right over. As a woman home alone, I tend to be cautious about strangers in my home. John was extremely nice, friendly and helpful. He educated me on what and why the leak occurred as well as pointing out some additional concerns I needed to be aware of that were unrelated to the leak. You can tell his business is his passion and very important to him. Just good people doing a good job to help others. I will always call John for my plumbing needs and recommend you do to!
