I went to see Dr. Shanks when I started having a lot of headaches and pain in my eyes. After a thorough evaluation, it was determined that my vision was fine, but my eyes were straining due to prolonged time spent working on my computer and smartphone. The recommendation was a quality pair of non-prescription glasses designed for use with screens. His son (the other Shanks at Shanks Eye Center) helped me choose an affordable yet stylish pair of glasses. And they work! Not only that, but I have gotten so many compliments on the frames he helped me choose. The Shanks family really helped me get my quality of life back. I highly recommend them!!

I have been a patient here since 2007 and do not plan on changing doctors anytime soon. Even though I moved 2 hours away back in 2018, I still make the drive for my annual exam because they are the best!
