“I recently found myself in a bind during a home renovation project, needing to replace some flooring urgently. I called a random number at the top of the Google list and got connected with Hardwoods of Nashville. From the start, Fred, who answered the phone, was incredibly helpful and professional.

I was dealing with a situation where my existing red oak flooring needed to be matched, but the contractors had sanded down a hallway that turned out to be white oak. The color variation was very apparent, and I was at a loss. I explained my situation to Fred, looking for a product to bleach the white oak, even though he didn't have it in stock. Despite there being no immediate gain for him, Fred offered valuable advice and suggestions on how to proceed.

After discussing it with my contractor, we decided the best course of action was to replace the white oak with red oak. I called Fred while on my way to pick up the order, and he had everything ready for me upon arrival. The entire process, from initial call to picking up the order, took just 90 minutes, thanks to Fred's efficiency and professionalism.

“Michael is a consummate professional: returned my calls in a timely manner, took the time to give us a detailed appraisal and quote for work to be done, and best of all he did an incredible job on the floors. Michael was honest and humble about the potential outcome on our floor after there was some damage to a couple rooms from the previous tenants, but he more than exceeded our expectations! The team worked diligently from the start of the project to completion including during low temperatures and rainy weather. The team was on budget and on time and this was the best contractor experience we’ve ever had. A couple of additional notable examples of their work ethic and integrity is that when Josue found damage to a window that may have been inadvertently caused by a team member he pointed it out replaced the damaged and companion window to match at no additional cost. Another example is when the team constructed a new overhang and upon evaluation of the aesthetics by Josue, he had the team tear out and replace in a better design again at no additional cost or time. “The Tile Shop has a large selection of tiles from very high end, to affordable. We are shopping for tile for a bathroom project, and they had several styles that will likely work for us.

The staff was the “Goldilocks” of helpful…they are approachable when you need them with all the answers, but they’re not in your face trying to sell you.

The product is arranged so it’s easy to view. And the bathroom and kitchen mockups are really helpful to help envision how certain tiles will work together.

John and Jason were easy to consult with throughout the project and we received clear explanations of costs for both labor and materials on a regular basis.
