I am a local death doula who was recently hired by a family to help plan for and support the death of their loved one. On their behalf, I reached out to 6 different funeral homes here in Nashville to research prices, options, and the best support. Chuck & Heide Crawford came highly recommended by the hospice team members that we were working with and from the first time I reached out, I was impressed with how available, kind, and caring both Chuck & Heide are. On July 11, I was unfortunately given the task of final arrangements for my Mother’s body who had been killed in a MVA when a speeding motorcycle crashed onto her car. She was in Tennessee and I live in Texas. After a bit, in a state of emotional shock; I proceed to Google and read Current Reviews of Services for Downtown Nashville. My momma passed away 3yrs ago this April and she left instructions to be cremated she lived on $1,400 a month widows pension and the state wouldnt do it cause the income limit is $1,100 so I starting calling around and come in contact with Chuck and he told me $1,800 to cremate her I told him I couldn't afford that so he gave me a # to a place that would do it for $900 then right before I hung up he said you know what ma'am I'll do it for $900 and I said ok so he gave me a $1,000 discount.
