These guys really know what they are doing and are the best at removing really big trees that were close to our house. I had three really big trees removed. A really large and old Maple tree that was about 15 feet from our front door that had recently died, and a really tall old oak tree that was leaning in the direction of our house, and an Ash tree that was at the back of our driveway that the Emerald Ash borers had killed. These guys when they start to work there is no messing around, they get to work and do it right and it is amazing how they can drop those branches and make them go exactly where they want them to. My elderly father hired Hughes Tree Surgery for a fairly large job involving skylining, dead tree removal and clean up of fallen trees on his heavily-wooded 2-acre lot. Hughes did an absolutely outstanding job. Hughes and his crew were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and his prices were the most reasonable around for the scale of job they tackled. Hughes will definitely continue to be our go to for all of our tree needs in the future. I would highly recommend them for any small or large job you may have!
They are fantastic. We had 2 HUGH trees, one taller than our 2 story home and the trunk was only a foot away from the roof. We found out it was BADLY rotted and infected. We needed it down ASAP. Steven came over the same day, he also walked around and found ANOTHER tree with the same infestation that would have, if it came down, also landed on the roof. None of us had noticed that other tree. The rot was on the backside of the tree. He checked several trees. He was very thorough.
