Once inside, I notified my aesthetician, Alexis, via their special link. Despite being nervous, Alexis made me feel comfortable and reassured throughout the procedure. She was attentive to my needs and applied just the right amount of pressure to minimize discomfort. She even took the time to educate me about the company's services. I tend to have pretty simple tastes when it comes to what I want, but Linz treated it like the most special thing in the world, which meant so much to me because while the design is simple, the meaning behind the ink means a great deal to me. She was great to work with, fun to talk to during the process, and the end result was everything I wanted. I love how inclusive the shop is - it truly is a safe space for everyone, and every single tattoo artist is just that - an artist. Linz takes her craft and her business very seriously, and it shows. “I’ve been going to Ultralux for a couple of years now! I’m usually with Andy who does a perfect job every time. The few times I’ve been with another nail tech it’s a 50/50 chance I leave with a chunky or lumpy nail - nothing too bad though where they don’t see me again for a fill. I also love their pedicures, they’re detailed & kind to my ticklish feet lolI could see where some of these bad reviews are coming from, but I think it generally depends on which tech you get & if you like the environment. There’s too many nail salons in the boro, I’m sure there’s one for everyone & Ultralux is for me. :-)“
