I hired Mr. Bilbry in September of 2020 to dig and pour footings for a new house. The footing was dug and poured the second week of Sept. I paid for the work that was done and even though he didn't ask for money towards materials i gave him extra for materials for the septic system. After 12 months of excuses I finally hired another company to install the septic. Dealing with Roger Bilbry was one of the worst experiences of my life. If you do hire Mr. Bilbry be sure you get a contract covering every detail of the job and a completion date along with a receipt for every dollar you pay, and good luck

I found Bilbrey Construction on LSN. (Local Sales Network). I called Roger Bilbrey, we met, he looked at the job site, and we made a deal in writing. He would build up my driveway and clean out my culverts. I would pay him $7,000.00 up front. He dropped 2 loads of rip rap and smashed one of my $1,500.00 culverts. He left and would not come back and finish the job. I tried to sue him. I found out that there was 2 other people trying to sue him for the same reason as me. It was going to cost me to much money to sue. My attorney advised me to let it go. Long story short. I lost my $7,000.00 and a culvert. I have tried to get LSN to stop posting his ads. But they don't...read full review

I would definitely not recommend hiring Roger Bilbrey, the owner of Bilbrey Construction, Inc., Monterey, TN, for any type of construction or excavation work. I paid him $47,500 to build a pole barn, and after almost an entire year of enduring his multiple outbursts, he quit by saying "F*ck off, Lady!" Roger Bilbrey has the worst anger management issues I've ever encountered with a contractor. My neighbors had similar issues with Roger, and he is now banned from doing any more projects that require approval in my restricted neighborhood. I know of at least three pending lawsuits in three separate counties where he is being sued for doing the same type of thing where he was paid, treated the customers very unprofessionally and never completed their projects. He made up countless excuses for his numerous delays. He breached our contract knowing that each party must pay their own attorney's fees so it is extremely expensive to take him to court. Nearly one year later, I still have no power or lights in my pole barn. He did not want me to have an electrical inspection, and I believe that is why he never made the final connection. One side of the building is under water every time it rains, and water intrudes into the building itself. He left massive tree stumps in my front yard even though he was paid to remove them and did damage to my property. He was paid to install a French drain which he never did. This man threw more temper tantrums than a two-year old. I highly suggest you do your due diligence and read the multiple negative reviews he has on file in various places. Roger Bilbrey was extremely volatile, unreliable, unprofessional and breached our contract by never finishing the job. Buyers beware!!!
