Prestige Ballroom LLC is a veteran-owned ballroom dance studio in Memphis, offering lessons for all skill levels and dance styles. The studio welcomes everyone, regardless of race, gender, or orientation, with the goal of helping students uncover their inner prestige. Clients praise the excellent instructors, flexible scheduling, and fun social events, including monthly outings to local dance venues. Prestige Ballroom is a great place to learn a new hobby, improve dance skills for a wedding or other event, or simply enjoy the art of dance.
I've been convinced for all of my 60+ years that I am not able to dance (you name the mental block and I probably have it). Well-took my first lesson last night with Anthony and left feeling like Ginger Rogers (feeling like, not dancing like LOL). I have scheduled several more lessons (getting ready for my son's wedding) and am actually looking forward to them! So even if you think dancing is an impossibility for you--go for it!
I started taking class about 2 months. My instructor Anthony is very professional, never misses a time when I did well or needed improvement. His recommendations helped improve my balance and technique. He also shared stories and ins and outs about different kinds of dances. I am enjoying the classes, something I look forward to!
Love to learn how to dance and move my body differently. Anthony is a motivating instructor who will push you to your goals and make it fun in the process
