I can honestly say that because my locs are not just a "fad styles", this is one of the places that I entrust them too. Tarah is a LOCTICIAN who knows about locs and the health of hair. Just because someone does locs does not make them a loctician. The atmosphere in the shop is always chill. Often times you here the banter between those working there and it appears they have a good working relationship with each other. One of my FAVORITE features is that they have a shampoo table. No more awkward and sometimes painful experiences getting your hair shampooed. You are laying completely flat and so your neck and back are supported. I moved to Memphis on Monday had a consultation with Tarah on Wednesday. She explained the difference in Locs because I thought I wanted pic extensions. Booked my starter Locs for Saturday with AleishaMonét. I had a picture which was a little challenging due to the length of my hair. When I say the staff all pitched in to help achieve the look! I loved the way they, especially Tarah, pitched in to help Aleisha achieve the look. Everyone was pleasant and accommodating. I was a little skeptical about starting my loc journey but I was feeling confident that I made the right choice with this Team by the time I left. Been to Best of thA best in Memphis for over 15 years, growing my Locs..I must say, Tarah Spearman, and Her Associates are the best in the CITY!!!I can't stress it enough mane!! ?????
