New You Hair Salon is a great place to get a fresh, new look for your hair. The stylists are experienced and attentive, providing personalized service to each customer. One customer, who hadn't had a haircut since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, was thrilled with the transformation after letting the stylist "go crazy" with a cut and color. Another customer, who had struggled to find a good stylist since a favorite salon from their youth closed, finally found their "Peaches" in stylist Tonya Harrison, who gave them exactly the cut they wanted. The salon has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with smiling faces and attentive service. Prices are fair and the focus is on making each customer feel great about their hair.
Tonia was fantastic! (Although the atmosphere was hands down the best place in Maynardville!) I wass greeted promptly by Gizmo, yes there is the cutest pup in the salon, and had highlights and a cut that was long overdue! The price was very reasonable and I will be returning for the future! So happy to have found the steel magnolia crew!
My hair had not been cut since the start of Covid and was totally out of control. Also I had let my color of my hair go back to its ugly dull brown color. Told the stylist to just go crazy and do a cut and color of her choice. Wow! What a difference when she finished. I actually felt 100% better about my appearance when she finished.
I found my Peaches! What I mean is that long ago, in my youth, I used to go to a salon where the hairdressers had fruit nicknames. She was the best. Unfortunately they closed and I never got a good cut since then. But I found my new Peaches. Her name is Tonya Harrison and she gave me exactly what I wanted . She's been a hairdresser for the last 16 years and she knows her stuff.The last time I went to a salon the hairdresser there botched up my hair real bad. But with Tonya it was like she read my mind (of course you still have to tell her what you want... and you can even bring a picture.
