My pup was very old, sick, and hurting terribly. They cared so well for her but unfortunately there was no real solution. I had to make that decision no pet owner wants to make. The employees were absolutely amazing and compassionate as I dealt with it and made the calls to the family. They let me lay in the floor and love on her till the end and a little bit after. It sucks putting your friend down but they made it as bearable as possible. If we ever are strong enough to have another furbaby there is only one place we will trust with their care. Amazing vet clinic for my cats. They see my current senior and kitten. We love them!They also facilitated an euthanasia for my senior cat. They were so kind and compassionate. I had called some other clinics and were not impressed. They were patient and allowed me to grieve! I highly recommend them for the highs and lows of pet care.

I highly recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone in East TN. Dr. Hicks showed so much compassion with our cat Renee. We had to make the difficult decision to put our kitty down to end her suffering, and Southwind (and Dr. Hicks especially) was so kind during this process. They gave us a cement paw print with her ashes to remember her by. They were never pushy about prices and provided multiple cost estimates for her care. I have already made an appointment for my other kitty Matcha and am glad to have found a vet that I trust.
