Set in a charming older cottage-style home in Knoxville, the Knoxville Healing Center is staffed by a wide range of professionals knowledgeable in the healing arts. I attended a class on pollinator plants, taught by Ruth Shelton, who is Knoxville’s premier Herbalist. Her knowledge in how plants, primarily herbs, can be used to heal the whole person, is vast. I never knew that different parts of a myriad of herbs could be used to treat illnesses ranging from depression to flu to allergies and everything in between. The massages from Ana Goncalvez are amazing. Deep tissue like you have never seen before. I went there with a stiff neck. I could not turn my head towards the right at all. She dug in with her elbows and knees and dissolved all knots. I left as if I was walking on a cloud. Completely pain free. The massage hurts, but it is soooo worth it! She fixed me :-)
