The Knoxville Healing Center

Set in a charming older cottage-style home in Knoxville, the Knoxville Healing Center is staffed by a wide range of professionals knowledgeable in the healing arts. I attended a class on pollinator plants, taught by Ruth Shelton, who is Knoxville’s premier Herbalist. Her knowledge in how plants, primarily herbs, can be used to heal the whole person, is vast. I never knew that different parts of a myriad of herbs could be used to treat illnesses ranging from depression to flu to allergies and everything in between. Ruth is earthy and warm and embraces life to such a degree that one can’t help but want to learn more. Also located in the Knoxville Healing Center are offices for massage therapy, Rolfing, occupational therapy, and several other healing-oriented offices.
