Our family recommends Ms. Dewhirst enthusiastically. She handled all of the legal paperwork associated with the private adoption of our son. Her professionalism and empathy when dealing with both our family and our son's first family was exemplary. She understands the unique issues that can arise in adoptions, and she was respectful of our wish to keep our adoption completely open, even though the state of Tennessee does not require it and even discourages it as the laws are currently written. Although Ms. Dewhirst handles many adoptions each year, she made it clear to us that each one is unique and deeply important to her.
