“Thanks to Drive-Rite for their driving course! Their flexibility in scheduling allowed our daughter to complete the course work during times that fit her schedule. She said the instructors were personable and informative. We appreciated Craig's time on the road driving portion of the program, reviewing various driving situations on and off the interstate.“
“There are 3-4 chapters to read every night and a required artwork poster competition due by the end of the in-class sessions. If your child is on the spectrum and needs more time, contact them before classes start to see if they will make arrangements.
For slackers, they just don't allow you to take the one on one driving lessons until all work is turned in. The same principle holds true for children on the spectrum. We needed the extra time, which they granted and allowed us to take the last day of class later to ensure work was complete as the scenario was causing a massive panic attack/ meltdown right before the last class and we needed to leave. I am grateful for their understanding as I was afraid my money and time were wasted. I originally left 4 stars because I was gaslit by one of the teachers when I brought this entire subject up - blamed for not knowing ahead of time about the heavy homework load, and not taking the time to hear what I was saying. It still makes me angry when I think about it. The owners and other employees were far more gracious. I am assuming this was a learning experience for the teacher and future parents of special needs kids will not have this problem.“
