The professionalism , quality , and styling is incredible. I’ve been going to this barbershop since 2011 and every wash, every curl and every conversation is nothing short of amazing! Ernestine is the only beautician I’ll let touch this mane of mine :) Ladies if your looking for a reliable beautician who has GROWING HANDS this is your place to go. I’ve went from unmanageable , damaged hair to the complete opposite. Not to mention the barber and beauticians ability to be flexible with your schedule and versatile with their clients. You won’t regret it !

Bates Barber & Beauty always give excellent customer service. Ernestine is very knowledgeable about hair (all types) and has an reputation for growing hair that was once damaged (that's a very TRUE statement). The whole staff is professional. You won't be disappointed at the services recieved. (New location 3805 Martin Luther King Knoxville, TN 37914).

My son and I both went to get our hair twisted by James.He was very professional and serious about his work. You can purchase snacks or drinks and sometimes the owner Ms.Earnestine will even bring homemade chicken salad on croissants! Yummy 😋
