First time taking a pet to this vet. Our previous vet retired. My 10 month old gsd was not happy to be taken out of the room by a stranger. Instead of stressing her out, they came back and had me help get her on the scale. Because she was stressed the vet spent 45 minutes just talking to her and giving her tiny treats so earn her trust. When the time came for an ear swab & shots(after 45 minutes of trust building) they were amazing.
Yes it's pricey, but no more than any other vet in the area.
The time they took to let our pup feel comfortable was above and beyond what was expected. We will be using them for all the future care of our pets.
We absolutely love this vet. When my husband and I first moved here our family recommended them and after bringing our pets to them for a year we can see why. We drive 45 minutes just to take our dogs to Boones Creek because of how much we love the care. We have three dogs and all of them are weird and have their own needs and personalities. I have seen all the staff work so well with each one of them. When my older lab had to get surgery I wasn't worried for a second because of how much I trust this staff and their expertise.
