Walked in waited, sat, 10-15 mins. Was never spoken to or greeted and they had just opened for the day. 4 people come in after and are pulled sit right down for a cut w/o question… would hate to put it on I was the most “tan” person in the vicinity. Horrible experience..
I walked up to the door and online it said they were open, but the door was locked. I tried to open it and waved at someone inside and they stared at me and then ignored me. I came at 5:30 when online it said they close at 8, so I figured this was a reasonable time just for a trim. Not a great experience.
DO NOT GO TO CLAUDIA for a women's styled cut. 1. Claudia charged me $60 for a dry hair cut, the price quoted on the website was $55 and up and I have short hair. For that price women's haircut appointments always include wash and style after. I've had dry cuts before, and they tend to be about $20 cheaper. 2. Claudia refused to look at photos that I brought to help illustrate the style I was looking for. I had spent the time and effort to bring 6+ photos on my phone and she never once looked at them or asked about the different elements of them, I should've just left then. But instead, I tried describing what I wanted which was a simple trim of the back of my hair to bring it up to an inverted bob style (super common) with layers for texture and lift. 3. She immediately started out cutting my bangs when I didn't even want those cut. And she didn't trim them to match the style I had she completely obliterated them and made them straight across ON A SQUARE FACE!!! OMG don't they teach you in year 1 of beauty school about face shapes and what not to do? Anyway, 4. Claudia did such a horrible choppy job cutting the back of my hair that I had to ask her to blend it better (no blending had been done whatsoever) and it looked terrible. Supercuts did a better job at $25. And when I got home I noticed that she missed a 1/2" section in the back that was sitting at least a 1/2 " lower than the rest so I had to even it out even more myself. 5. Claudia refused to style my hair afterward even when I'd asked her to curl it. And lastly 6. She complained the whole time about some other woman who was a repeat customer who never tipped her. That's just unprofessional and manipulative. I should've NOT tipped her as well as I did not feel her abilities or effort matched the price she charged.
