“My husband and I started seeing him about 7yrs ago. I had recently moved here and had not picked a dentist yet. We were still seeing our dentist from VA where we had moved from. We would make an annual trek back home to see him and visit with our families. We were crazy about our dentist back home and we were committed to staying with him. One Sunday I developed the worst toothache and had to be seen as an emergency visit to someone local. We chose Dr. Howard because we saw he had an office near our home in Hendersonville. He had never seen me before and told me to meet him at his office in 1hr. This was a Sunday!! I was beside myself with pain and he had the greatest attitude and a soothing way about him that immediately put me at ease. By the time I left his office I knew I had found everything we needed to permanently switch to him and we have stayed 100% loyal to him since then. His wife runs the front office and it is a well oiled machine! She and all of the staff are just as sweet as Dr. Howard. It's a pleasure dealing with all of them, truly. “I saw Dr. Katherine McKitrick for a root canal. I had seen a dentist and they quoted me $2k for a root canal and crown on a tooth I already have a crown on. Insurance apparently won’t cover replacing a crown for 5 years, so if it’s later realized you need a root canal on a broken tooth, you are screwed…at least that what I was lead to believe by the other dentist I saw (whom I’ll review separately). I called my old dentist that did my original crown (from prior to moving here). He looked at my old scans and said the crown was placed well and shouldn’t need replacing. My old dentist recommended to skip the dentist I saw and go straight to endo. They can drill directly through the crown, do a root canal and then fill it. I called M.City Endo around noon. I had an appointment the next morning at 8:30am and my root canal complete same day and on my way home by 11:00am. What?!?! I can’t even get a cleaning in this town for 4+ months and I had my problem tooth fixed in under 24 hours. Dr McKitrick was so friendly, listened to my issues, and understood my personal needs. She was so helpful in finding the right, most cost efficient way to get my tooth repair. Kudos to you doc. Most docs are trying to rob me of my money and don’t want to offer less expensive options. I’m grateful for this Dr/tech duo. Thank you both for the help.“
