I have a 20 year old log home that I bought 3 years ago. The house was poorly maintained over those 20 years and so it was in rough shape. Peter was fair and honest about what could be done within my budget and the work was expertly completed. The crew was diligent, polite and very neat with their work. In a time where it is so difficult to find construction professionals who are trustworthy and do quality work, Mountain Top Log Home Care did not disappoint! I would not hesitate to recommend them. My house looks wonderful and I feel very confident that the repairs were done properly.

We have a 30 year old log home that was in need of some repair and updating. We first met Peter Malkmus when he visited our home in 2019 to provide an estimate. Stellar individual, completely transparent regarding schedule, cost, amount of work required. Unfortunately, we elected to go with a different source for our paint work due to availability at the time. This proved to be a major and costly mistake on my part. Our home was left unfinished and in worse condition than when the work started! Needless to say we fired that painter and I immediately reached out to Peter for some advice. Within 30 minutes, Peter replied, requested photos of the situation and stated that he would be in my area soon and could repair and repaint the entire house in few hours (current painter was at it for several weeks already!) Peter, along with his crew of Zack Malkmus, Jim Miller, Mason Shadrick, and Zaine Berrier arrived at my house at the time specified, went right to work covering everything in need of protecting, put ladders up everywhere, and began the log repair and paint work. In a few hours the house was completely finished, and completely cleaned up! These guys went out of their way to make time for us with literally no more than 30 minutes notice! This is impressive considering how hard it is to actually get someone to just come out for an estimate around here! In closing I'd like to say that if you need your home painted, repaired or restored, you need to contact Mountain Top Log Home Care and Restoration. They show up, are punctual, professional, realistic, and honest. Oh, and their work is pretty impressive too! No better customer service than this!
