We had to put down our dog of 10 years here Saturday after hours. He had diabetes for a year and was coughing up blood so it was time. Dr Mardicks and her attendant was were very compassionate and respectful and allowed us to hold him while he was put to sleep. We had never been here before but our usual vet was closed (the water was turned off in Greeneville this was a week after the flood of 2024) and it was after hours. Highly recommend. We will be donating our unused diabetic supplies and special food here maybe they can help someone else in need.
East TN Veterinary Hospital takes excellent care of all our pets and farm animals. Dr. Delaney and Dr. Taylor are excellent vets for our large animals. All the companion animal vets are so kind and very knowledgeable. Our 2 dogs love Dr. Basket. She is kind and caring and is an exceptional vet. She holds a special place in our hearts for giving Zoee a much better life and was so endearing at the end of Zoee's life. We have never experienced a more caring person at such a difficult time. I’ve worked for ETVH for almost a year now. The veterinarians are some of the most compassionate, caring people I’ve ever met. The vet assistant staff and receptionists love caring for pets and their owners and it shines through in all that they do. It’s been a true blessing for me to have become a part of this team.
