I needed to have my daughters prom dress tailored. I was told by a different alteration place that he would charge me 650.00 to tailor the dress and would have to lose the strip of net crinoline at the bottom of the dress. Losing this would mean the dress would lose its shape. My mother (always know best) told me to take it to CJ Alterations. I did and was charged appropriately and they did an amazing job!! Perfect! And the net crinoline is still there. The dress looks perfect.Also, the other alteration stores I visited weren't very clean and had bad smells. CJ Alterations is very clean and smells clean. You won't have to worry that your dress will stink when you get it back.

My daughter has been begging for voice lessons for a while and after participating in a school musical, she was hooked and that’s when we found the music box. Johnnie is the best because he makes house calls and is very patient with our son who has autism and is not always cooperative. The house call visit is easiest and most comfortable for our son. I have my hair cut at the same time. I love that he knows exactly how I like my hair without being asked.

I believe the person who cut my son’s hair today was Zana. My son was so very upset. He has complete meltdowns about haircuts. He doesn’t typically enjoy electric motorized things either, so the clippers make it even more difficult for him. This young lady never batted an eye. She never made a face. She never looked like she was tired of it. She was so sweet. She did her best to stay out of his sight. I’m sure that isn’t an easy way to cut hair! I can’t thank her enough.

I love Aveda and I love a good salon. This is a cute spot in Germantown and they do amazing hair and nails as well. They carry most Aveda hair pertussis and have parking as well.
I had the pleasure of getting a blowout by Hannah at Studio Twenty-Three, and the experience was exceptional. The salon's location is fantastic, with a beautifully decorated and intimate setting. Hannah's welcoming nature and sweet southern charm made me feel right at home. Our conversation was so enjoyable that I almost forgot I was getting a blowout!
Hannah was incredibly thorough, and the results were outstanding. I continued to receive compliments on the shine of my hair days after the blowout! The salon was impeccably clean, and my hair felt wonderfully clean and refreshed afterward.

Holly and the folks at Ella David salon are wonderful! They were able to work me in quickly and Holly did an amazing job with my hair right before an interview. I told her she helped me get the job, lol! Then after I had an accident and had to have stitches in my hand they worked me in the same day to get my hair shampooed and styled when I wasn't able to do it myself. Holly also took the time to teach me how to recreate the hairstyle that she did for the interview so that once I got there I could touch it up as needed. Really impressed with their services and their prices are reasonable. I highly recommend!

My wife and I purchased five (5) rugs from Heavenly Rugs. Hadar was very patient and helpful. We brought fabric samples from our furniture and he was very good at matching and blending the colors to find the perfect rugs. We found the perfect rug for our living room but the size needed to be custom. He ordered the rug to be made to fit our space. He quoted six (6) months delivery and it arrived early. I was skeptical but he worked hard and got exactly what we wanted and he did it on time.
My wife and I were trying to choose between several choices for each room so Hadar brought the rugs to our home along with similar choices that he personally picked out. One of the rugs that we love was one that he brought with him to show us. The experience was great and since we got to see the rugs in our home before we purchased them the entire experience was stress free. He even gave us a loaner rug that we were able to use while we waited for the custom rug to be made. The experience was wonderful!
He also offers rug cleaning and maintenance which is a huge plus!
There are a lot of rug companies to choose from but Heavenly Rugs stands out as the best of the best.

I have multiple experiences to share , the first being my own. I was on a hiatus from healthcare (I am also a chiropractor and nationally certified as a provider of non-surgical spinal decompression) for several years and during that time I suffered a fall while painting a bathroom at home and then a whiplash injury on my John Deere tractor. Based on my symptoms I suspected a bulging neck disc and my MRI confirmed it. Being a spinal decompression specialist too, I knew what I needed to do but was not practicing at the time. Being newly relocated to the Memphis area, in my search for a doctor who provides spinal decompression I found Dr. Wootton and incidentally discovered that he was the first doctor in the United States to provide non-surgical spinal decompression to patients. As I expected, my treatment was successful as it had been for the vast majority of my past patients too.My other experiences are via my patients from my past practice providing this treatment and over the last several years in my current practice, patients whom I have referred when their progress plateaud from standard chiropractic care. I always refer for an MRI first to confirm or deny the presence of bulging discs and once confirmed, Dr. Wootton is my go to consistently providing superior care, giving these patients the last bit of recovery from injuries that were interfered with by bulging discs.While spinal decompression may not be the answer for everyone, it is an extremely effective treatment in reducing or eliminating herniated, protruding or bulging discs as evidenced in thousands of peer-reviewed cases and of course the anecdotal evidence of many patients. It is interesting to note that a review or two have stated that you can get cheap devices to do the same thing which is wholly inaccurate and can in no way compare to the medical device (invented in 1985 by Dr. Allan Dyer, PhD, MD a medical researcher and Minister of Health Care for Canada). Most alternatives are traction oriented, prescriptions or surgery. If you are uncertain whether this type of treatment is for you, I encourage looking at scholarly articles on Google Scholar and do a thorough search of the comparisons between non-surgical spinal decompression, standard traction, prescriptions or surgery. I realize some will think I am biased and in some ways I am because of my background in helping hundreds of patients avoid surgery and also as a patient having avoided surgery for my bulging disc. I encourage any patient dealing with herniated or bulging discs to consider this treatment before considering surgery and prolonging their pain.
I am in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy, and I was experiencing extreme SI joint pain. The pain was gone after my first visit with Dr. Cook. She takes her time and she is gentle but effective.

I recently had to bring my dog, a 14 1/2 year old Blue Heeler, in for a splenectomy, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she received. From the initial diagnosis to the surgery and post-op care, the entire team was professional, compassionate, and thorough.
After the surgery, Sasha was understandably groggy when she got home, and as expected, she showed some discomfort, panting and vocalizing for the first two nights. However, it was comforting to see that she behaved exactly as outlined in the detailed post-op instructions, which reassured me that her recovery was on track. By the third day, she was noticeably more comfortable—she even barked and laid on her side, which she hadn't done since the surgery. Now, just four days post-op, she’s recovering incredibly well and no longer seems to need pain medication.
I’m grateful for the excellent surgical team that helped her through this process. Their clear communication, detailed instructions, and genuine care made all the difference during a stressful time. Thank you for taking such great care of her!
