“When it comes to getting a haircut, I'm incredibly picky for some reason. There have been very few people I've trusted, but Shayna definitely makes the cut... I know terrible pun... I became her client several locations ago before she opened up her own place. My only complaint is that she books up pretty far in advance at times so it's difficult to get a last minute cut for a special event, so I usually book a few appointment in advance. If you need a new barber, definitely come here.“

“Fantastic shop and more importantly fantastic haircuts! Asked my grandson, Grant, where his go-to shop was when he wanted to spiff up a little bit. Without hesitation, he said, "5th and Barber" and I said what? Again, he said 5th and Barber and I said, OK, sounds good. Where can I find it? It's in the little shopping center in Grassland, near the Tractor Supply place. OK! Got it! Looked up 5th and Barber on the web to get the exact address (2176 Hillsboro Rd., #112, Franklin, TN 37069). While looking over the web site, including staff bios, I was delighted to find that Katie, the_farming_barber was on staff. Let me just say! Katie is a miracle worker. Not only does she give amazing haircuts, she has an outstanding, friendly, professional personality. And as an added bonus, she is a highly skilled, hands on Tennessee animal husbandry specialist who can tell you a thing or two about raising, chickens, rabbits and ducks! Now ask yourself? How many other barber shops do you know of in the Franklin/Nashville area where you can get a great haircut and walk away knowing that small time farming is still alive and doing well. “I have been to many barbers over the years and have had A LOT of bad haircuts. I had gotten used to hearing, “It will grow back…”, and having to wait weeks after the haircut for my hair to look OK.
