“It has been a year since I started having trouble with my back. I couldn’t hardly get in bed or the car. I saw my primary doctor and he sent me to Tennessee Orthopedic and I didn’t get to see a doctor, but I saw a Physician Assistant instead. I was in tears, I couldn’t sit down because it was difficult to stand or sit! I was x-rayed and was shown a slipped disc. I requested a shot (I don’t like shots and for me to ask for one shows I was in pain!) the P.A. told me I would have to have an MRI before getting a shot. My appointment for the MRI was scheduled 4 weeks later! I couldn’t wait! Thankfully my best friend/sister-in-law Trish Cook convinced me to see Dr. Elliott! He x-rayed me again and confirmed the slipped disc. I was very leery and thought slipped disc meant shots and surgery! He assured me he could help me! After the first treatment I was feeling better, he told me not to do anything, but I just had to vacuum my floor!! The next day I was back in to him crying I hurt so bad! He scheduled me an appointment for the next day, a Saturday, and I thought he was open on Saturday! When I got there I asked where everyone was and he said we don’t work on Saturday! I was flabbergasted!! I said you came in to work just for me? He said, “you were in pain and my job is to help you”!!! I left with tears rolling down my cheeks not just from pain, but from gratitude that he cared so much!!

I waited a year before commenting to see how this worked out! My disc is back in place without surgery or shots! This past couple of weeks I have worked in my yard everyday and no pain in my back!!! I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Elliott! There aren’t many doctors who would take the time to care for a person these days, but this man cares more for his patients than any doctor I have met in years!! He is really dedicated to his job and caring for his patients! I would recommend him to anyone! If he can’t help you he will tell you and if he can help you he will give his entire attention to making you well!! He did me and I thank God for him and his practice!!!!“
