“Good people that take care of your fur baby's. They have always taken care of my great dane Samoa Jane and she can be a double handful at times. The only downfall is the cost. If you live on a fixed budget like me it's really hard to come up with the extra money. Other than the cost which comes with pretty much every veterinarian clinic I have no complaints!!!“
“Super beautiful space. Had to wait 30 or so mins for a rabies shot...but otherwise one of the best vet visits we have had“
“The whole staff was amazing!! Took care of my emotional needs along with all my pets needs. Dr. Simpkins was great with my babies!! Thanks for all your help!!“
“WE have been using AAH since we moved to Piney Flats due to convenience, we quickly found out how wonderful a facility it is. We then bought a house on the JC side of Elizabethton and decide to use an animal hospital closer (and maybe less expensive) to home. We did and we were NOT happy with that choice. WE quickly returned to AAH and realized you get what you pay for in addition the cost at the other Animal Hospitals is very comparable and the 30 minute drive is worth it. Plus you get the cutest little ID cards for your pets! In addition, we had to let our 18 year old Chi/JRT had developed lymphoma that had to go over the rainbow bridge. Dr. Stone accommodated us on such short notice to assist. She was so compassionate, kind and generous with us. Not to mention she even shed tears with us. As mentioned in the other comments they have a separate room set up and decorated just for these unfortunate situations. The room is warm and welcoming with all that is needed, comfortable seating, low lighting, blankets, towels and lots of tissues. The options post rainbow are plentiful as well. So as you can see, AAH; Dr. Stone, other Veterinarian's and staff are all wonderful! I will continue to sing your praises and advertise for you when possible! A simple thank you is not enough but will have to suffice. Thank you, The Gouges“
“Appalachian Animal Hospital is, hands down, the best place to take your pet for all their needs! The staff there are all extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly!“
“We received amazing care at Pinecrest Veterinary Clinic. From the first call through the check out process everyone was kind, caring, competent and professional. Dr. Hinkle listened to all of our concerns and made us feel like a valued part of Revy's care plan. So nice to be heard and not just told what the plan was. We are so happy to have them provide care for our fur baby.“
“I have seen other comments about their prices and yes, they are a bit expensive, but in my experience they are a fantastic veterinary practice! I trust my animals with them and have always received top-notch care from them. I have several cats and will be rescuing another stray cat next week that I have built trust with. The staff here know me by name and know my pets by name. I have never had a bad experience with these fine folks and the care my pets receive is always top-notch. I've been with them for almost a year and a half now and I couldn't be happier. When I take my kitties there, I know they will get the best health services money can buy.“
“Unfortunately me and my mom had to have our 16yr old dog put to sleep. Pinecrest isnt my usual vet, but they are closed due to flooding. Everyone I spoke to at Pinecrest was sweet and understanding. We were a mess, but no one made us feel bad for it. Dr.Kapoor was emphatic and even tho he had never met my dog prior, it felt like he really cared about him. Dr.Kapoor sent us a card with a handwritten note in the mail expressing his condolences. I am so touched and grateful for the people who helped us during a very sad time.“
“Dr. Moore and every staff member I've spoken to, met, or just seen helping other pet parents, are AMAZING!!! They took exceptional care of Tiger Lily, a stray kitten/cat that decided she'd move in, sleep with us, kill all the mice, snakes, or whatever she found outside and share it with us (so thoughtful!).
Dr Moore is an "above and beyond" person (to taking Tiger Lily, and other pets home with her during the recent flood).“
