1 Star is more than he deservesWarning: Do NOT use Oaks Heating and Air Conditioning ! He installed a new fan motor and wired it wrong. When my furnace called for aux. heat, nothing happened. Tried calling him for 5 days before I was able to reach him. Told him that after 3 days I finally called another heating company and they corrected the problem. Greg Oaks had switched 2 wires on the control panel. Told him that he had made a mistake and wired it wrong and after he told me I was the one who made the mistake, he hung up on me. Then he blocked my phone number ! !Cost me $ 92.00 for the other companies service call and labor . Greg Oaks refused to pay me that money.
Oct 2019
A rating of 1 star is really stretching it. We lost heat during the first frost on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2019, and Mr. Oaks, the contractor who installed my unit in April 2018 came out promptly on Monday, Oct. 14, 2019. That's where he stellar performance begins and ends. He diagnosed the problem and said he should have the part in a day or two. Three days later (Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019) I called him, and he said that he had the part and would be out that afternoon to repair my HAV unit. I haven't seen hide nor hair of him, and he will not answer my phone calls. He's so out of touch that he does not have a voicemailbox set up to leave messages. So, today, Oct. 21, 2019 I called the manufacturer and they told me to have any licensed HAV contractor do the work. Mr. Oaks, "YOU'RE FIRED!" I gave my business to Crossville Heating and Cooling. I will not do business with him in the future, and you're a fool if you do business with him.
