Thanks all for efforts to help. I found our homebuilder's paperwork and learned that Terry Bowman (Fireplaces Direct) installed the fireplaces in our house. Checked out his reviews and found them quite positive, 4.8 stars! That was encouraging... Called Terry Tuesday and he squeezed me in the next day. He called to make sure I was home, and minutes later he and Bob were here. They reviewed LR fp operation, cleaned the glass, tested the fp operation, and found a defective LED causing a minor light issue, and then confirmed proper operation of the fp on the outside deck. Even took off their shoes before entering our house without being asked! Really pleased. Looking forward to a long relationship with Terry and Fireplaces Direct.
This was the first time I've had my gas fireplace serviced correctly! Terry was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He explained things as he worked. Everything is clean and working great!
