“Cory Heinkel is a great physical therapist. He is knowledgeable, experienced, and advocates for his patients. My doctor initially said I had shoulder tendinitis and prescribed PT. Cory listened carefully to my pain history and tested my range of motion, concluding that I actually likely had a tear of the tendon. This was confirmed by MRI. When I began rehab PT after surgery, Cory immediately recognized that I had developed a frozen shoulder and adjusted my care plan accordingly. I was apprehensive about this complication, but Cory explained everything to me all along the way and also created a home exercise program specific to my situation that was complementary to my clinic program. “I saw Jason for back pain a couple of years ago. The pain was so bad that I had to quite working out and couldn't bend down. I had previously been seen by a chiropractor that did not help the situation. Jason did a full mobility assessment during my appointment, asked me about my posture and daily activities, and identified the problem immediately. He prescribed a set of exercises that seemed counter-intuitive to me. In fact, some of the stretches I had been doing to try to find relief were exacerbating the problem.
